... Thursday. The Tokatea reported a parcel of good stone to-day. Ihe Royal Oak has a show of good specimens throughout, which will likely have an important influence on the future of the mine. Good show still in the face. Pride of Tokatea.—A fair show of gold observable in tke leader this morning. Union Beach. —It is more than likely specimens will be got in the low level to-morrow. Golden Point.—The tribute obtained a small parcel of specimens again to-day. Whangapoua. — Making; tip rafts of logs at all the creeks; Three or four vessels are expected in to-night. Arrangements for a cricket match between Thames and Coromandel, to come off on the 30fch, are likely (o be completed. This day. Union Beach.—The manager has reported gold in sight at the east end of the leader. Royal Oak.—The manager reports a small parcel of specimens.
