Thursday. Respecting the regatta for 1876, a meeting of the committee was held yes-

terday evening. It was resolved to in-' crease the value of the prizes, namely— Champion Sailing Eace, first prize, New Zealand Shipping Company's Cup, value 25 guineas, with £100 added. There is to j be aris Inter* provincial, four-oared whale-' boat race, first prize, Mayor's Cup value £20, with £50 added; and a canoe race, -1 the value of the cup offered to be increased from £5 to £10.
