Ellis's (Exchange Hotel) sweep: Ist prize, £300, Andrews and Hardiman, of Hokianga; 2nd, W. Rattray, £150, North Shore ; 3rd, £100, Miss Gibbs, formerly barmaid at the Exchange Hotel. We learn that Mr Yarborough sold his share in Woollomai to Mr Fraser of Hokianga for £3 some days ago. Captain Jones, of the Queen, arrived in harbour from Hokianga only last night.—Auckland Star.
