It is reported at Taupo that about 100 Waikato natives have threatened a hostile visit to-Tokano (the-settlement at the south end of the lake) to obtain utu for the desecration of the graves of some of their relatives by Taupo natives. Tokano is in, some excitement, and is sending-to its friends for help. Most probably the honour of the Waikatos will be satisfied witb, a war dance and firing over the desecrated graves.
