- Monday. The new screw-steamer Taiaroa, 438 tons, for the Union Company, left Glasgow on September 18. She steams out, and is expected to arrive here' at the end of this month.. On her official trip she averaged 11 knots. .-■-*• • This day.
At a meeting of the National Insurance Company this afternoon the report was adopted and a dividend of 15 per cent, declared.
