The section known as the Mary Ann, lying^ta ipi£?sottth of; thjß CurevWjp^ings, has been 1 let on to Manners' and party, who have completed a small crushing at the Waiotahi battery of quartz left from former workings, to get it out of their way; the result lias, however, been poor, yielding only ll oz 18 dwts, but this will not affect the future operations of the tributers.
