November 4. Prospectors' Claim. Wegociatioris in connection with the erection of a battery for the Earangahake Gold Mining Company have been completed, and the deed of association has been signed by all but two shareholders, who are at Waitekauri. These two intend coming in to-morrow, and will attach their signatures. What the terms are has not yet transpired, but from a conversation with one of the shareholders I am inclined to think they are of a favourable nature. However, the matter is now so far settled a^ to make us look upon it as wn fait accompli. Tenders for the conveyance and erection of the machinery will be invited early next week, and Mr Wright, C?E»» is expected up here on Monday to lay out the levels for the water race. The shareholders intend to apply for a renewal of protection; while engaged, in erecting the battery, but they will still have a number of men employed in opening out a low level;
