(Before W. Feaseb, Esq., E. M.) SUSPICION OF LUNACY. Henry Herbert was brought up on the information of Dr Fox charged with being of unsound mind. He was committed to the Lunatic Asylum on the certificates of of Drs Fox and Payne. A GEOUHDLESB CHABGE. Frederick Taylor was charged with obtaining a cross-cut saw by means of false pretences with intent to defraud. Mr Bullen said accused had been apprehended on Saturday erening on this j
charge, but he had found on enquiry there was not evidence to support the charge. He would ask for accused to be discharged. , Discharged accordingly. ( STJRAY GOAT. . j John Calclicott was charged with'allow- <■ ing two goats to be at large. * ' f He pleaded guilty and was fined 4s and costs. ' ANOTHEB CASE. Catherino Coolahan was called to' 1 answer a charge of allowing three goats to be at large in Mackay street, but she . did not appear. Service of summons was proved. A witness, named Augusta Hall was called, but also failed to appear. No explanation was offered on behalf of defendant, but His Worship adjourned the case till to-morrow. ANOTHEE STBAY GOAT. Samuel M'Glutchoy pleaded guilty to a charge of allowing ;one goat to wander in the street, and was fined 2s and costs. Court adjourned.
