RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before W. Fbaseb, Ksq , R. M ) TRANSFERS OP LICENCES. An application was made For the transfer of the license held by '■iliiam Hawk for the Victoria Hotel, Karaka, to John Nicks.
. Mr Dodd appeared for applicant. There was no objection on the part of the police, and the necessary papers having beeu filed, the application was granted.
An application was made to transfer the license of the Glasgow Arms Hotel, Pollen street, Grahamstown, from William Backer to William Hawk.
Mr Dodd appeared in this case, and it was similarly dealt with, the application being granted. Court adjourned.
