The principal prize, will bo THE BIRTHDAY CUP, VALUE £50. This "will be competed for in three running handicaps of 100 yards, 300 yards, and 880 yards. For running first in any of the races 6 points wifl be allowed, for running second 4 points, and for running third 2 pointa. 1 The Competitor scoring the highest to'al of points in the tbfee races will receive the first pnV, £25 in money, and a Valuable Bilver j Cup presented by Mr Joseph Ellis, Exchange Hotel, Queen Btreet.
