Waitekauri Track.

A telegram has been received from Sir • George Grey, with reference to the above, purport of which is that he recognizes the necessity of encouraging private enterprise, and authority will be given at once for the necessary expenditure to make the track to Waitekauri. This will enable. Messrs Brown and Bleazard to get up their machinery for the Waitekauri G.M.Co. We may mention that this teiegram from Sir George Grey is not in any way connected with the movement initiated by the deputation this morning, but the result of previous communication i regarding the road to Waitekauri.
