oirT£ e Governmen* Life Insurance Department issues all desirable forms of Policies. The Payment of event Policy is guaranteed ly the Colony. Participation in Profitß is authorised by the Legit- ■-- lature to bo given to Policy-holders. «, 2 ~ ?*pmium rates are- lower than those of Private Companies. , 3-No Policy or Medical Fees charged. 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, until the Burrer.der-vaJue of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurers, after having paid three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender value of not less than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums j and if for any reason the premiums are not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6--|hirty day ß of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums. 7-Liberal conditions as to travelling and residence. B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy.—An insurance Policy effected by the Insured, Unaf.de on his own life, is protected from bankruptcy or" ineolvency law» to a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thuß, after it hap endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200* after five years, to £500; after eeven yean. to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection npplies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured.

9—Married women may effect Poli. cies, dispose of the money by will, as if Bingle ; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above.

10-Settlement Policies.—Policies effected for the benefit of the wife and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11-Probate, &c, dispensed withl —When a claim under a Policy does nofe exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Xietters of Administration, thus savißg great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12-Prompt ..payment of Claims and no discount charged.
