COLIBAN.
The crushing fop this company is finished at the M,o.anatairi mill, where 99 tons have beeif' r'edltced, the stone being obtained from sipping on the reef measuring some 18 inches wide. Frdm time to time' specinieni have been met with, and led to great expectations, which have only been partially, realised. The expenses in transit are rather heavy as well as tedious, several delays occurring in the delivery, which militate against the value of the return. The yield, however, is good, being 177£ ounces retorted gold. The recent crushing, fox.thii| since its affairs have been under the management of Mr Mine Manager Littlejohn, have enabled the directory to declare a dividend of sixpence per share, as well as retaining a respectable sum to the credit of the company. CrusEings will be resumed shortly, the appearances at the mine being hopeful.
