TIMARU.
Wednesday. Thomas Hughes and. his wife were committed for trial for forgery and uttering. It was a curious case of a bank draft being delivered and paid to the wrong person at the wroDg place, the Post-office at Christchurch, and the Bank of New Zealand, Timaru, by a mistake rendered the offence possible.
