The Union Beach started crushing about three hundred pounds of specimens to-day, which will likely give over 2 ounces per pound. They finish to-night.
The Royal Oak manager reports 50lbs. of specimen and picked stone on hand, with thirty-five tons of quartz. He expects more specimens at next breaking down on No. 2.
The City of Auckland manager reports sending stuff to the battery to-day. A rise is going up from the low level. He expects specimens.
Tokatea.—A small quantity of good stone from the Seige level.
