Earthquake at Poverty Bay.

A Poverty Bay telegram tc-day states that a violent earthquake shock was experienced there last night at 11.20. Heavy vibration, in north and south direction, lasting nearly one minute. The whole town was in commotion; in one hotel there was quite a scene. Consternation was in every face ; bells ringing, clocks stopped. The shock made several people 1 quite sick.
