I—The Government Life Insurance Department issue* all desirable ■forme of Policies The Payment of every Policy is guaranteed by the .Colony. Participation in Profits is authorised by the Legislature to be given to Policyholderi. " 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. Policy or Medical Fee* charged. 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under s ■pecidl regulation providing for the continuance i& force of every Policy for the original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy it er* hausted in payment of premiums. ,/ ' s—Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurers, after having paid three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender value of not Jess than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums ;* and if for aisy reason the premiums ere not paid when due, • paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6—Thirty days of grace we allowed on all Renewal Premiums. . " 7—Liberal Conditions as to travelling and residence. ....... y B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy. —An Insurance Policy effected by the Insured, benajlde on his own life, is.pro* tected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus* after it has endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £600; after seven year*, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. Jhis protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women m»y effect Foiicieß, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their hustmrds, according to duration, to amounts similar to those etated above. 10 -Settlement Policies-—Policies effected f.>r the benefic of tho wife and childr.n of the Insured ar« absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, proyidi d that the premiums are payable during life, or ony period not less than seven yeßre. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy does, not exceed £200, the Commifsioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thua saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. - 12—Prompt ..payment of Claims and no discount charged.
