AUCKLAND.
This day. In the Police Court to-day, two Carisbrook Castle seamen were sentenced to onemonth for desertioa. One was sentenced to six weeks for assaulting the chife officer of the Rowena.
The s.s. Pretty Jane takes the Satikati special settlers down this afternoon. Arrived: Hawea, from the South.
