E. V. Dixon deposed to seeing a rope fetched from Mitchell's, and used in pulling down the house. ; Wi r Koho, wife .of Hopianha, deposed to Mitchell's taking the natives to break the house down. : This was the plaintiff's case. Mr Tyler called Mr Mitchell, who gave evidence of fcuch a nature that his Worship said he could not go on with the case as it was clear to him that the question was one of title, which prevented him. ALEXANDER HOGG V. MTTBDO M'KENZIE. A plaint for ejectment. After hearing evidence judgment was reserved. J. D. WTCKHAM V. THE GEM G.M. CO. This wasa claim.for £20 damages for. refusal to register 40 shares purchased by the plaintiff. It appeared that plaintiff had bought 40 shares which the manager of the company refused to register on the suspicion that the transferer .was la dummy. Mr James Frater, the attesting witness, admitted he knew the transferrer both as Peter Ppmmery and John Arthur. The result was that the plaintiff elected to be non-suited, and His Worship impounded the letters and transfer for the inspection of Mr Inspector Bullen.* : ' The Court then rose.
