Accident at the City of London Mine.
This morning one of the men named Leech, descended one of the horses on No. 4 reef for the purpose of getting a drink, which he accomplished safely, though against rules for any one .to use a pass except for the purpose of sending down stone; but on returning, was not so fortunate, as a large stone that had evidently been hanging in the pass, rolled down upon him, and cracked his, skull. The unfortunate man was taken to the hospital, where he now lies suffering from the fracture.
