. Tuesday. The Union Beach, got about 30 pounds of specimens this afternoon and more are expected to-night. The return from the specimen crushing is not yet in, but the result will be in to-morrow. This day. Union Beach.—The result of the specimen crushing is 696 ozs melted gold. A small quantity of specimens reported today. . The Harbor View tributers.got a small quantity of specimens to-day. The workmen got 10 feet through the large lode, j and the stone is looking better. • j
City of Auckland. —A leader in the low level working shows payable gold.
Other mining news is unimportant.
