The win^e connecting tl^e two levels has been cut by the drive from tb.e Cure level on No. 5 lode, proving that the JNo. 4 Manukau lode and it are identical. The body of stone is 2 feet Gin wide, and is now in a better country, and the stone has an improved appearancp. The several leaders in hand will.bo tested by trial crushing at the Tramway battery.
