BRIGHT SMILE.
The first cleaning up at the company's new mill took place on Saturday, and may be considered satisfactory. The mill has been virtually opened one month, but owing to stoppages.and the necessary loss of time in tempering: the plates as well as tplacing the whole-plant in thorough working order,» fourteen- days' work may be set down "as a fair estimate, to which must be added 10 head of stampers at the old mill for the same period, making the crushing force employed -equal to 50 head for 14 days' work, with the yield of 738 ounces retorted gold.
