THEATRE ROYAL.
An entertainment of a novel and attractive character will be presented at the above place of amusement this evening which will probably attract a large audience. It will introduce Mr H. N. 'I horiiton, so long and favorably known as scenic artist and actor of Mr J. L. Hall's company at the old American Theatre, together, with his wife and talented daughter. The latter has played m the leading cities of the colony, and has achieved successes which older actresses might well feel proud of. She was a very child when she left the Thames with her parents, but the favorable notices she has received in the New Zealand press bespeak the possession of unusual talent, which has no doubt been carefully cultivated by her father. The' programme is varied and well-chosen, and should afford the means of a good evening's entertainment.
