The drive on No. 5 lode, Cure level, is now in the hands of contractors, :who are making fair progress, and the winze is . expected to be cut in 10 feet distance. The appearance of the lode has greatly improved, showing three feet of welfdeflned good-looking stone. . The battery - will- start a portion of the force for this company on stone from this level to-day.
