Sir Donald McLean gave formal notice that the debate on the Abolition Bill take precedence of all other bnsineas until its conclusion excepting on Wednesday next, which should be devoted to private business. Mr Holies ton gave notice to move for information as to the manner in which the legislature signified its desire for -tho the removal of the Judges. In reply to Mr T. Kelly, the Colonial Treasurer, said credit would not be allowed to the district of Taranaki for proceeds of the railway reserves sold to the - General Government within the Province.
