Ihe yield for the present fortnight has proved much better than the preceding one, and the general return from this mine 13 anticipated to increase. The stone from Heldt's reef, now worked from the tunnel level, being sufficient to maintain a considerable number of stampers, and proving of good quality. The yield is 325| ounces retorted gold from'66o tons stone.
