The proposed height'of the said Dam is eighteen feet. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the ldth day of September, 1575, a License may be granted to the said Ajax Goldmining Company, Limited, for the above described Dam Site, unless valid objection be in the ■meantime made-in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven deal* days before that date. Tho mean depth and breadih of such race is two feot by three feet, and it is capable of carrying fire sluice heads of water of forty., inches, and the number of s'uice heads intended to car,y through such race is five; and the a'inount of ground required on either side fur protection is ten feet. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 14th day of September. 1875, a License may be granted to the said Ajax Gold Mining Company, Limited, for the above described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at .this office, not lees than eeven clear days before that date. Warden's Office, Thames, ■ -August 9, 1875. A PPLICATIOjS" has been made by 1\ William G. Barnes for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for goldmining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked E E on a creek about a hundred yards north of frlesslcstown Creek, falling into head of fourth branch of Taima River, taking in unnoccupied Btreame along course of Race, and. terminating at a point on Pearl Claim indicated by peg marked E E. The length of such Race is three miles or thereabout!, and its intended courae is east and west. Tho icean depth and breadth of such Race is one foot bix inches by two feet, and it is capable of carrying five sluice heads of-water, and the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches ea,ch which it is intended to appropriate is five, and the land required for euch Race is fifteen feet on each ride thereof. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 21st day of September, 1875, a License may be granted to the paid William G. Babnes for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than Beven clear days before that date. " ■ - W.
