A number of logs were got down by the list fresh. . • The Spray, cutter, left for Piako toA meeting of the Tiki inhabitants is to be held to-day to petition tho Superintendent for a- separate Highway Board, as trustees were all elected in the interest of those withilfthe present boundaries. A public meeting to adopt a petition in favor of the Abolition of Provinces i« to beheld on Monday next. Most likely the' Bill will have passed before.
