A IMPLICATION has been n-.ade by James X\- Ljddell, for a LICENSE to construct a i Water Rues for nvninp purposes commercing . at a point on the fourth branch of the Tairua River, indicated.by a peg marked L, about lour hundred feet above the eouthorn boundary of the Consolation CJaim, and tcrI minuting at a point, denoted by a peg marked , L, about two hundred feet below the northern boundary of the said claim. - The length of 1 such Race is four hundred yards or there- < abouts, and its intended courso"is north and | south. The mean breadth and depth of such i Race is six feet by four feet, and it is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of wnter. The number of sluice-heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate ie five, and the land required for such Race is sixtysix feet on each tide of the centre of the said Race. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 7th day of September, 1875, a License may be granted to the eaid James Liddell, for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection .be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven", clear days before that date. Warden's Office, Thames, July 29, 1875; : A PPLTCATION has been made by XX Walter Sully for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked X, about three hundred and fifty yards above Rulo Britannia whare, and terminating at a point one hundred yards below juncioa of Rule Britannia Creek with fourth left hand creek of fourth branch of Tairua River. The length of suck Race is a mile and a half or thereabouts, and its intended course is east by north. Tho mean breadth and depth of such Race is two feet six inches by fifteen inches, and it is capable of carrying three sluice-heads of_ water. The number of sluice-heads of forty indies each which it is intended to appropriate is three, and the land required for euch Eaco is sixtysix feet on each fide of the centre of the said Race.
