THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL.

A meeting of the Thames Borough Council md Highway District Boards was held this afternoon to consider the advisability of sending Mr Eobert Graham to Wellington to further the interests of the Thames. The Mayor and Mr Brown thought that it would be to their advantage to Kare Mr Graham at Wellington, Mr Eowc and Mr Brodie thought otherwise, as' they had heard Mr Graham express yiews .about the foreshore diametricallyopposed to their interests. Mr Macnab and Mr Cox also thought that it was an unnecessary step. Mr - Brown proposed that Mr Graham be * requested to go to Wellington, to ,act acording to their instructions but withdrew his motion at the request, of the Mayor who stated he was sure that Mr Graham would not care togo except at tli,e;unsninfoqs desire of all parties, after a vote of thanks to the Mayor the Council separated.
