The researches of I&r Walker hare again met with encouragement, and a candle box full of specimens have been secured towards the next crushing. Some of these are unique and rich. The lead«r however is small, varying Jrom 2 inches to £ an iuch wide, with soft footwall of a few more inches width. This leader is within 50 feet of the old City of Glasgow shaft, on the Tunnel level. The shaft is not down so low.
