The two lodes opened from the main working level continue to show gold more or less every day, 40 lba yesterday and 20 lbi this day fair specimens were tamed. Stripping and driving on the black lode, or No. 4, is being carried on; the body of stone not. large, but rich, a brand of gold nearly an inch wide being visible in the face, which varies from 8 to 18 inches wide. The show at the battery, Tararu creek, looks well. To-morrow the stock of specimens and picked stuff will, be submitted to the stampers. There are between 17 and 18 cwt on hand.
