Band of Hope Goldmining Company (Tairua.)
An extraordinary meeting of this company was held yesterday at the Governor Boweh Hotel. '.The attendance was numerous, representing above 20,000 shares. Oh "the motion of Mr Macnab, seconded by Mr E. Kenuan, Mr ,W. Bowe'took' the Chair.. The object of the meeting being to make rules and appoint directors, the' Chairman ' proceeded to Iread the clauses seriatim, which were dis- ! cussed, and Laffefwards, adopted in their entirety,by-the-meeting, the^whole, of the proceeding!? being based up,on' the Goldmining District Act 0f'1872. l On the election of directors the' following' gentlemen r were unanimously • chosenMessrs W. C. Wilson, C. J. Stone, D., Macnab, W. Sims, W. Rowe, J. Heron 1 and J. T. Macky. Three members to form a quorum. Mr James Macky was confirmod in his appointment as legal manager. ,
