The owners of this claim, Birnie, Wilson &-CB., have succeeded in cutting tho. reef from' 'the drive at about 130 feet from the' mouth' of adit, and arc preparing for a crushing, which should turn out well, the portion of the reef taken down on the footwall side being a fine body of quar. ta, from three to four feet of crushing dirt, gold seen frequently.
