Captain Richards, manager of the Albion mine, this day sold to. the Bank of New Zealand, 97 ozs 3 dwts 12 grs of. gold. This is the product of the late cleaning up for the company at .the. Prince Alfred battery, and is looked upon as the commencement of a series of good crushings. Crushing is still being continued, or would be if the battery were going, but the Prince Alfred battery has been hung up for a week to effect some slight repairs.
