The last crushing for Messrs Britfc and party, tributers in the Point jKussell, has resulted very unsatisfactorily.! Fr.om -7\ tons of stone ■ the gold obtained (and melted afc the Bank of New Zealand this' morning)-is 1 oz. 19 dwts. 12 grs., which will hot pay for the working. The former crushing was equally .unprofitable,. but the tributers have determined to give the ground one more trial, their attention to a different portion of their block.
