William Harper was also charged under the Vagrant Act with being a rogue and a vagabond. Defendant pleaded very hard to be excused on this occasion, and jenade abundant promotes of reformation in the future. • - < At the request of the Bench, Mr Bullen withdrew the charge, and His Worship dismissed the defendant, at the same time cautioning him that if he ever appeared again in that Court the full penalty would be inflicted, namely, 12 months' imprisonment. .
