QUEEN OF THE MAY.
- .There is very little to report from the Queen of the May, the only change in the direction of underground operations being that the branch lode from jthe ma;u reef has been stripped some distance, aud a small quantity of quartz was taken down yesterday. Driving on the two levels is being continued, and a good supply of stuff is secured. The crushing dirt taken from the mine being more thai sufficient to supply the Herald Battery, the surplus stuff is sent to the Una for treatment.
