A SQUABBLE-ITS RETSULTS.
An incident occurred- at ■ Ohinemuri yesterday by which John Eiordan.was.so far the rictim as to hare his leg seriously injured, if not fractured.- In a quarrel or whatever else it may have been, with Denny Hogan, liiordan was kicked, it appears —playfully or otherwise ~:and kicked/So. severely that-his leg, below the knee, has so much.swollen that the doctor has not yet been able to decide whether the limb is fractured, s or.'whether it has only received a severe bruise. . Riordan" was brought down in the Pearl this morning, and .conveyed to -the Hospital on a* stretcher, as carefully as possible, where he was attended to by the surgeon. " !
