[ Li.ECENT. -'' Sabina Burke was charged that she did feloniously steal, take and carry away from the dwelling house of John Hendy, at Shortland, one £]0 bank note, on or; about,the 10th June. rr : _ c >- :-'_ ! - Mr" Biillen said the information pre--ferr-jed by. Mr Hendy,was,under the 60th, lsecti«n'" of the Larceny Act, by which; .stealing any.article from a dw.elling over and above the value of J£s was' made a,'' felony, punishable by imprisonment for a j 'term not exceeding 14 years and not less] than three years. He (Mr Bullen) had' tome evidence to offer, but it was ' not! complete, and he would ask for a remand until Saturday. He had no wish to" keep the accused in custody an hour longer than was necessary. Remanded till Saturday. The Court adjourned.
