A retorting at the company's own battery took place yesterday, and a return, of 81 ozs, 3.dwtg. was obtained. • This isthe result of;a crushing of general;and ' picked stuff,, amounting to. 80 tons; • but there are about 60 lbs of specimens to be treated which will give - a considerable addition to the general yield and make it satisfactory.
