ALBURNIA.
Retorting for the above took place at the Moanatairi battery, where five:head of stamps have been engaged. . The result was 60 ounces retorted gold. This lot; with 300 ounces from the company's own mill-—to hand • some days backr-was melted at the Bank of New Zealand today, and the total returniis 358 ounces of gold, which rather exceeds expectations.
