" ' ' '■ IMMODESTY. i The same defendant was also charged "with indecently exposing hisperson in a public place," to ;wit> y in s'Owen^'street, G-rahamstown, on the Ist instant. Defendant expected he must hare done iso, because he knew not what he did. Mr Bullen stated the circumstances of the offence; also that from what he knew of the man he appeared to be respectable. i Defendant said he had a wife and six children, and pleaded hard to be let off. For the first offence a fine of 20s and costs was imposed, and for the second 48 hours' imprisonment.
