DEUNKENNESS
Annie Swift; was charged with drunken-, ness and pleaded guilty, but she Baid she had been a Good Templar for two years, and had been induced to take a drop of brandy. Mr Sullen in support of the defendant's stntement said she had not been before the Court since 1872. Before that sho was constantly there before for some offence or other. Fined 10s. and costs. Arthur Footer, for a similar offence was fined in a like amount. j The Court adjourned.
