LONG DRIVE.
;■:;".•.,The Long Drive retorted a lot of amalgam yesterday which gave 189 ounces gold. This is the result from 14 days' crushing with five head stampers at the Moanatairi Battery. There are 120lba of specimens on hand, and crushing of general stuff will be resumed on Wednesday. It is expected that the total yield for the month will be quite 400 ounces. -^
