On the motion of Mr.Cheeseman it was agreed that a return should be asked for money paid for provincial law expenses during'the last 12 months; and to whom; also a "return to show all, if any, law charges forwarded to the Provincial Government but not yet paid. On the motion ;bf Mr -Davies it was resolved that a bill should be introduce^ p for the formation, management, and cO"-' trol of public cemeteries at the Thames. Along debate ensued on the resolution of Mr Dargavillei affirming the desirability of maintaining existing relations between Provincial-and General Goernments with reference to the police. The resolution was carried on a division by 18 to 12. On the motion of Mr Prime, the Superintendent was requested to place £5,0 .on the.
