I—The Government Life Insurance Department issues all desirable forms of Policies. The Payment of every Policy is guaranteed hy the Colony. Participation in Profits ie authorised by the Legislature to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates are lower than those of Prirate Companies. 3—No Folioy or Medical Fees charged. 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss* —Insurers, after having: paid three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender vnluit of not less than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums; and if for aßy reason the premiums are not paid i»hen due, a paidup Policy will .be issued, generally equal in amount to tto. premiums paid, and often much in excess. ..-■;

B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy*—An Insurance Policy effected by this Insured, bonajide on his own life, is pro* tccted from bankruptcy or intolf ency laws to s certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after it has endured for two years, it ii protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection applies only in farour of the personal represent afire of the Insured. 9—Married WOmen may effect Policies, dispose of the money .by will, as if single j and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. I 10—Settlement Policies-— Policies effected for the benefit of the wife and children, of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums arc payable during life, or any period not lets than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When'a/claim under » Policy does not exceed £200; the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the 1 representatives of the Insured. < 12—PromBt^payment of Claims and no discount charged.
