The time approaches when this Company's mine and general works will once more bo in activity, the. extensive additioDS to the property being nearly completed. At present there is no work doing in the mine, but everything in connection with the underground workings is in splendid order, and the mine will be in a good ' condition for the immediate output of a large quantity of stone as soon as necessary. The pump will be stopped to-day, in order that an excavation for the foundation of a new and improved balance-bob may be made j the bob used hitherto having been in use from the first.
