Tairna" Gfold Mining Company's shnrcs have changed hnnds in fair parcels at 40s, (losing firm, holders not appearing anxious to quit. Tho accounts from that district continue tnoit encowrnging, but until all tho legal difficulties are settled transactions vrill bo limited. Tho City of London Compuny haT® paid a dividend oi 5s per enure, amounting in ail tp the mm of £1,250. Sales in this stock at 51« 6d, ex div., closing firm -with sellers at 52i 6d. These prices shew a slight decline on last week's quotations. Queen of the May were sold *t 7s 6d. at the begiunrig of the w«ek, and since at 8s 3d. They are now firmly held, consequent upon the excellent yield; bujer>, 8s 6,' j bo sellers. City of Yorksales, 6s 3d; seJlerß 8s 6.d; not many offering. Albmnia inquired for at 10s, but without business, and no declared Boilers. Cure—few sales at 9s, at which price there are sellerß. Bright Smile—no transactions; sellers, 31s 6d; buyers about 30«.
