Tho accounts from that district continue tnoit encowrnging, but until all tho legal difficulties are settled transactions vrill bo limited. Tho City of London Compuny haT® paid a dividend oi 5s per enure, amounting in ail tp the mm of £1,250. Sales in this stock at 51« 6d, ex div., closing firm -with sellers at 52i 6d. These prices shew a slight decline on last week's quotations. Queen of the May were sold *t 7s 6d. at the begiunrig of the w«ek, and since at 8s 3d. They are now firmly held, consequent upon the excellent yield; bujer>, 8s 6,' j bo sellers. City of Yorksales, 6s 3d; seJlerß 8s 6.d; not many offering. Albmnia inquired for at 10s, but without business, and no declared Boilers. Cure—few sales at 9s, at which price there are sellerß. Bright Smile—no transactions; sellers, 31s 6d; buyers about 30«.
